Had an epiphany this weekend. Most of the time I had been driving with my Consult connector connected since my rebuild, but I had removed it to go on a longer drive. I didn't realize at the time, but my PS miraculously worked on that drive then stopped again. Figured out that it seemed to be linked to having the Consult connector. 3 days now with it pulled off and I've been keeping PS. Somehow the connector was keeping the speed signal from getting to the ECU. Not sure if it was pulling a line down or what. FYI, I got a cheap Chinese interface from Ebay, like this: [ http://www.ebay.com/itm/370680076223?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 ] . May see if my friends interface does the same thing. Not sure if there is something special/crappy about this interface, or if there is some other issue, but I've got enough other stuff on my plate right now to not care. Also, didn't bother to measure the speedo signal, but I do think it is TTL if anyone cares. Again, don't really feel like dealing with it right now.
